In an increasingly digitalized world, hybrid connection and collaboration are essential. A recent study published in the Harvard Business Review highlights how 81% of respondents stated that collaboration is crucial for success. These trends are reflected in most companies, which prioritize collaborative work in the office and remotely.
Google Workspace has been developing the concept of collaborative work and productivity for over 15 years, offering a range of tools and services that facilitate collaboration.
Leveraging the power of Google Calendar, which provides centralized access to individual and team schedules, ToogleBox expands its reach by enabling the visualization of calendars from external domains. This innovative feature breaks down communication barriers and fosters seamless collaboration with partners, customers, and suppliers, spending less time planning events and more time doing task fulfillment.
What is Calendar Sharing?
Calendar Sharing is a ToogleBox feature that enables other domains to access your users' calendars.
Who can view other external users' calendars?
The Super Admin of the domain configures who can view users' calendars from approved external domains. There are three possibilities:
- The entire Domain
- Organizational Units
- Specific Persons
How are events displayed in the calendar?
Similar to Google Calendar settings, when calendars are shared with external domains, you can view:
- Only free/busy information (hiding event details)
- Share all information, but outsiders cannot change or modify calendars.
- Share all information, and outsiders can change calendars
- Share all information, and allow managing of calendars
The best tools designed for collaborative work are in Google Workspace, and ToogleBox is the must-have platform for its management.
